Mommin ain’t easy… I love this girl more than anything in the world but she’s constantly challenging me, making me a better person and mother. Some days I struggle more than other days but this smile will always bring me back around. Just have to pray for patience, peace, and a lot of grace. And be thankful for this amazing gift God has given me.
Happy Valentines week! Blakely had her first Valentines party on Tuesday & was so fun exchanging valentines with all the babies! Seriously the cutest picture of them all together! 😍
Here’s a few Friday favorites!
These are my new favorite yoga capris! Black & white stripes are my jam so I instantly fell in love with these! (I literally wear these everyday!) The fit of these are perfect! They are so comfortable & stay in place. That means no tugging up yo pants while you workout!
Everyone has cravings for sweet, savory, crunchy… you name it. I have found the most yummy “healthy” snack! I love anything coconut flavor so when I saw these I had to try. I totally wish this came in a Costco size bag, but I guess it’s a good thing they don’t because they would be gone in a minute!
Did you all see this weeks Fixer Upper episode of their bakery reno?! Oh my! Take me to Waco, TX now! I love every design & detail they did from the herringbone wood flooring, vintage looking black cabinets, white subway tiles, outdoor courtyard with the black & white cane chairs… I could go on and on! 🙌🏼 Secretly makes me want to build and design another house! (And own a bakery!)

Happy weekend everyone!
Monday was a SNOW DAY! Yes! The Pacific Northwest has hit us with a crazy snow storm. Two weeks ago I was so ready for spring but with this blizzard, winter is not going away. I got to stay home from work though! We stayed all cozy inside, enjoyed some family time & made our valentines!
Blakely & I go to monthly play dates with friends & February’s play date happens to be on Valentine’s Day! ❤️ I shared last week that we are making our own valentines this year. I have always enjoyed and loved to craft & be creative. So putting together these valentines was so fun! Of course thanks to pinterest for some inspiration, here are our DIY valentines!
I liked the idea of not doing candy valentines because the kids in our play date group are all under four years old. They most likely don’t need all that sugar. Yes I know animal crackers have sugar too, but less than straight up candy! 😉
All of the supplies I used were crafting stuff that I already had on hand, but are almost all from Micheals. I designed the WILD saying on Microsoft word. Super simple and easy! Just print, cut & paste onto some animal print card stock. Add a heart sticker, tie with bakers twine, and you have the cutest handmade valentines!
What valentines are you all making? I’d love to see them too!
February is only one day away! ❤️ And we are excited for all things pink, glittery & heart shaped! We love to dress up, be festive & celebrate all holidays. So no exception for Valentine’s Day! I put together a few of the cutest little outfits from our favorite places to shop for February!
Blush Long Sleeve . Vintage Terry Sweats . Heart Pjs . Ello Love Tank . Bubblegum Velvet Bow . Grey Dress . Hot Pink Moccs
I fell in love with Candy Kirby Designs before Blakely was born and absolutely love all their stuff! They have fun colors, patterns, and our forever favorite black & white stripes!
Can’t go wrong with an Ello Love tank for February from our local favorite, Kate & James! Blakely is on their brand rep team & we love to support local businesses!
Matching shoes & headband are the perfect way to dress up a simple dress! Free Babes & Sweet N Swag moccs are our go to accessories! (Having a girl is seriously so fun playing dress up!)
(so proud she got her baby out of the toy basket herself!😄)
I am super excited for Valentine’s Day festivities! We have a play date planned with friends & are exchanging valentines! How fun is that?! Just melts my heart thinking about it! 😍 We can’t wait to make our own valentines and celebrate with friends for Blakely’s first Valentine’s Day! Keep an eye out for our DIY valentines next week!
In our house we don’t really have “weekends”! I know right?! Everyone lives for the weekend after a long week. But with me working part-time now & Braden’s shift work schedule, working every other weekend makes our “weekends” different from most. We still have time to go out, have date nights, & hangout with friends & family. It just can happen any day of the week! (well whenever we aren’t working 😉)
Tonight, our friday night consisted of bbq’d chicken tacos, fresh lime margs & the cutest baby laughs that melt my heart! ❤️
Happy weekend to you all!
